In Mold

In-Mold technology (IML) : the thick foil is produced with several layers and combines simultaneously in one operation hot stamping and molding.

The cut foil is fed through the empty mold by a transporation unit. The mold is closed, then the foil is pressed by a slightly succion applied through the mold.

High temperature and molding pressure release the upper decorated layer (gold or silver one) from the PET carrier and fix it to the plastic part, which is separated from the carrier when the molding piece is cooled then it is forwarded.

The quality is preserved, the cutting properties are perfect.
Scratching resistance is optimum.
